Diet starts tomorrow....
Well, I've said it again. "Diet starts tomorrow!" Usually I say it as I am piling junk food in my mouth, or am on my 2nd HUGE helping of supper and desert. But this time is different...I acutally mean it this time. After having my two beautiful girls in the past three years, I have gained and maintained A LOT of weight. My clothes never fit right, I am miserable every day I have to get dressed and I just hate the way I look. I never have the energy I need for my girls and my job has me very sedentary 8+ hours every day. So I decided I can either sit and sulk and pout and be miserable. Or...I can do something about it.
And that is exactly what I am going to do...the diet started the next day. I began weightwatchers on Monday September 14th. It's not easy, but I tell you what....I have tried every "fad" diet and pill out there. This is nothing like all of those...this actually works. It isnt' a diet....it's real. You can eat whatever you want, you just have to be accountable. So far, I really like it.
STARTING STATS: UGH.
starting weight: 236lbs (GROSS)
*I also am keeping track of my body's measurements, however I'll just post inches lost once a month. Those numbers don't need to be floating around. haha.
The first week went great...I was a little bad because we had my daughter's third birthday party (which was soooo much fun!!) But I still managed to lose 5 lbs!
WEEK 1: 231 lbs. I am on my way!
Weight watchers lets you set up your goal weights, my overall goal is 150 lbs, about 85 lbs. I am not setting a timeline for that goal...as long as I am making progress and I get there...that is all that matters. My first goal is 10%....212lbs. My husband has even joined, and we bought a treadmill to have at home. I have a lot of support and this time the committment to complete this mommy adventure.
Every monday I'll weigh in....wish me luck!!!
